| The Loyalist
Inn has a long and colourful history in
this special town. It may have been the original site of
the Merchant's Coffee House, where the first Loyalist
founders gathered to discuss the daily happenings in what
suddenly became the 4th largest city in North America.
For many years it was known as the Bower Hotel and
today, the Loyalist Inn
is the only remaining hotel in Shelburne and is known for
its clean, affordable accommodations, perfect location in
the centre of the Historic District and its licensed
restaurant and lounge. You can see our weekly
specials here.
Our rooms are clean, comfortable
and affordable, and offer all the amenities you would
expect, including free wireless internet, private baths,
cable TV, free parking and more. To see more about our
rooms and rates, click here.
In a place with so much history
to it, there's little wonder that the Loyalist Inn has
some special guests. The W Network in the
USA and Canada has featured The Loyalist Inn in a special
broadcast of Rescue Mediums, where the kindly spirits
which inhabit this historical inn were revealed by
Rescue Mediums.
